A MEMORABLE JOURNEY TO CAMBODIA
Cambodia is well-known for its World Heritage site and full of cultural, natural and historical wonders in the world. The exhumed skulls of some 8,000 souls, ordered by sex and age, are displayed behind glass panels in the Memorial Stupa, which was erected in 1988. After viewing the breath-taking scenes, other must-see tourist spots including Royal Palace, which was built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of old town, and “Silver Pagoda”, which was named because its 5000 silver tiles flooring.
The other exciting adventures in Siem Reap are also incredible. Designated by UNESCO as World Heritage Site, the Angkor Archaeo-logical Park, encompassed dozens of temple ruins including Bayon, Banteay Srey and the legendary Angkor Wat whose artistic and visual impact make it parallel to Pyramids, Machu Pichu and the Taj Mahal. Unlike other world class monuments, the ruins of Angkor has been unspoiled yet and believe that this will not be happened in a couple of years.
To see the sunset from Phnom Bakheng, from where we can have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat, is also one of the must-see attractions. It definitely enrich your trip, just like a dessert after a delicious meal.
